Playing Techniques:
1. Mouth shape
① Lips in the shape of a smile;
② Align teeth up and down in the oral cavity;
③ Gently pull the corners of both lips outward and close them tightly, leaving a small gap in the lips;
④ Gently place the mouthpiece between the lips, with the upper lip accounting for about two-thirds and the lower lip accounting for about one-third.
Attention:
Do not tilt your lips forward; Do not cover the upper lip with the lower lip, and do not wrap the lower lip around the upper lip; The chin should be flat, and the cheeks should not bulge; Apply equal force to both corners of the mouth, do not forcefully pull to one side; Do not use gravity to press your lips.
2. Breath
At the beginning of learning, one should first practice with bare hands: standing upright with both hands akimbo.
① Luck Practice
Practice mid to long distance running, followed by chest expansion exercises;
Open the corner of B's mouth slightly and close his teeth (aligned up and down) to practice deep breathing.
② Blowing exercises:
Blow out the air slowly and evenly according to the mouthpiece, forming a trace of airflow.
Attention:
When inhaling, do not concave your abdomen or shrug your shoulders; When inhaling, if water is poured into the pot, gradually fill the chest from the bottom (abdomen); Breathing should be "fast" and "full"; Blowing should be "slow" and "even", and the airflow control should be soft with rigidity. If you place your palm in front of your mouth, you can feel the air blowing out as a trace of airflow; Blowing out is like pouring water, first up (chest) and then down (abdomen),so the chest is reset first and the abdomen is reset later.
3. Playing Practice
① Blow long notes
Inhale carefully, fully, and do not waste the airflow when blowing. Use every minute of the airflow on the sound. Long notes should be blown straight, without trembling, and maintain overall stability. When playing a long note, there should be a sound head, which means using the tongue to send air into the mouth of the horn. The first sound should be "spit out", and then the air should be blown out smoothly to maintain a stable sound. Do not suddenly stop breathing at the end.
② Blowing off sound
Diatonic refers to the disconnection between sounds, which sounds like they are connected, as if they are not disconnected or connected. When blowing a staccato, the shape of the mouth remains unchanged, the breath maintains a constant rate of delivery, and the tip of the tongue beats the inner lip rhythmically.
③ Blowing and transliteration
Transliteration refers to the mutual conversion of low and high tones. The key is to tighten the corners of your mouth slightly while playing the staccato well. By applying a little force to your hand, you can produce a high pitched sound; On the contrary, the bass can be blown out.
④ To play a high note
On the basis of playing the 3 notes well, pull the corners of the mouth outward tightly, press the hand slightly back, and disturb the lower lip, causing the airflow to flow strongly and rapidly into the mouthpiece. In this way, the treble 5 is blown out.
⑤ Practice Trumpet Song
A memorizes each number of songs,
Familiarize yourself with the inspiratory symbol (V) when playing.
Segment B exercise; Divide each number piece into several paragraphs and practice playing. For example, divide the flag piece into two sections for practice, and the welcome piece can be divided into four sections for practice.
C Whole song practice: Practice according to the requirements of each number of songs.
