The AWO35 is ideal for those who like the response of sterling silver but don't necessarily want the bright tone that can come with a solid silver horn. The sterling neck, body, and bell provide extra mass for exceptional projection and a brighter tonal quality with the brass bow keeping the horn from getting too heavy and from getting too bright. With resonance and a refined sound, the 993 series has outstanding evenness of intonation over its entire range at all dynamic levels. The double arm support on the low keys ensures better pad seating and a stronger low end sound. The posts that hold the keys in place are mounted onto strong support straps that run the length of the instrument; this adds weight and support to the body and influences the carrying power of the tone.
